This will be a one-time thing only, but I will explain how my posts will work. The picture will come first and then the explanation. Some photographs will not be straightforward, others will. The title of the post for obvious reference will include the date and what is included in the photographs. Pretty simple, but I still felt the need to explain just in case. These first photographs are solely night photography since I figured I wouldn't have much of any time to get many and it's a fun way for me to start off. So without further ado, welcome to the trial run of Happiness a Day!
---
Hope: The moon, so far off in the distance and yet still shining, is a glimmer of hope for me and makes me happy every time I see it and regardless of its current phase.
Peace: Happiness is the peacefulness of a chilly, dark night, almost eerily illuminated. There's almost an eerie comfort that surrounds it. I could've stood there for hours, quietly humming a tune.
Mystery: The mystery of the tower is a source of happiness. There's no real mystery behind it that I'm aware of. It's more the way it looks. Illuminated in the dark as if it holds secrets. I'm constantly found staring at this building. It's beautiful.
Strange: Happiness is the strange and weird things in life. I will admit that I don't know what these are. Roots of some kind? Regardless, they're fascinating to look at and a source of happiness every time I walk by them. The strange and unique always makes me happy.
Ducky Butts: A less moody photograph seemed like a must, so I must introduce the ducky butts! Granted, these are geese, I believe. Either way, feathered bottoms are always cute and make me smile and I'm one of the lucky few whom the fowl of our pond don't feel the need to attack. You know you can't help but smile at them and their deviousness.
I hope you've enjoyed this first look of Happiness a Day. Remember to comment and invite your friends if you enjoy this blog.
Happiness,
Angela
